1182 Tallinn broke a 23-0 winning streak that SK Cēsis sustained against Estonian teams since 2012. Howard Frier`s side won the first three quarters, defeating the guests by six points, 75-69, on Saturday, October 25.
Everyone knew that Cēsis couldn`t keep winning against Estonian teams forever. But with 23 consecutive wins under Cēsis belt and more than 2 calendar years without a single loss, three time Latvian champions were still considered favourites.
1182 Tallinn won the battle of rebounds, 45-37, and scored 56 points inside the perimeter, while their opponents made 19 of their two-point attempts.
SK Cēsis drops to 3-1 this season, while 1182 Tallinn improves to 5-0.
