Meļņika is also a member of Latvia National team. She represented Latvia at the EuroBasket Women 2015 second qualification tournament, where she recorded 5,7 points and 5,3 rebounds in just 10,2 minutes of action.

Zenta`s father is former Latvian international Igors Meļņiks. He played for the National team in 49 games and scored 706 points, helping to qualify for three European Championships (Munich 1993, Barcelona 1997, Istanbul 2001).
